Greygal, I'm not doing the wrong quest, I said ALSO.   I AM doing the perma key quest and have most of it done.  I just haven't found that stupid corpse sucker; but with the help from docgalaad, I should be able to.  I said quote, "Also, I went to the LEFT room AFTER getting the pen garden quest in the RIGHT room in the NE temple."  READ NEXT TIME. THANK YOU.  It was a completely different question not even relating to the perma garden key quest mkay?

That other paragraph was referring to something else I had a question about, I KNOW that's not the perma key quest.

I don't see this posted so I'll post it.

A great source for frags is the named bosses inside the pipe (hollows?). They drop them quite often. Also the enforcer looking ones drop them too. Next time im there ill get exact names and edit this post.
Theres a bunch of bosses at each branch on the 2nd floor, and like 3 more up top after you hit a lever. People are in there farming for patterns, so it can get kinda crowded sometimes, careful not to killsteal.

The guy that starts the quest is Follower Yutt-Pi Van.

Wrong cave perhaps Bong? The cave entrance is NW of Pen , exactly NE from redeemed temple.

BTW I can't find Or-Mada of the furious fists at the SW temple...

Good guide... just finished mine up tonight.

Clan version of this is similar, just different mobs to tag. Check those notes if something is unclear. But basicly:

After tagging the last mob you get ITEM REWARD : Source Fragment Scanner.

Feed 7 fragments of the source to scanner, and u will get an new scanner, repeat 4 more times ( 35 frags in total ), est! voila! new key.

Guide for the Coordinate Impaired

Note 1.0: You will need 35 Fragments of the Source to complete this quest.  It is a good idea to get them before starting the garden quest.
Note 2.0: You must be in fairly close proximity for a mission update.  Just move slowly in to prevent from getting too close and reselect target until you get mission update.

To begin your quest for the Penumbra Vanya garden key you need to go to the NE corner of penumbra where you'll see a pennisula.  Enter the temple and go to the 2nd room, then go right.  Enter the next room and you may or may not see the Patriarch Prophet Nar Van standing in the distance depending on if clans have killed him or not.  Regardless, go straight and go around the corner to the left and talk to Follower Yutt-Pi Van (278, 371).

Target #1:
Once you get the quest, you'll need to go to Savvy Spinetooth blessed by Cama.  Go back to the garden and exit out at The Pipe.  Once at The Pipe head go to the left side of the long "pipe" you see to the north and follow it to where you'll find your Savvy Spinetoot blessed by Cama (1480,1360).

Target #2:
The next one to find is the Algor Eremite blessed by Cama.  Go under the big "pipe" to the south and you'll find the eremites (1340,930).  They're hidden mobs, but you can find them by hitting "TAB".  (it is also to the SE of the Vanya Statue at The Pipe.  

Target #3:
After tagging the Algor Eremite, head back to the garden and exit to Penumbra Fortress.  Go straight north after you exit and you'll end up near the coords (2650x1900).  Note: You actually pass by the Demon of Water on the way to the Unredeemed temple to begin this quest.

Target #4:
Head back to the Unredeemed temple stand at the entrance and turn facing SW.  Go down the ramp and you'll see a pillar straight ahead.  Use the "A Lever" on the opposite side you're facing.  Go SE a short distance and you'll see the Son-Len - Blessed by Cama (3260,1740).  To exit, continue going SE and you'll see a similar pillar to the one that had the lever on it.  Again, on the backside of that pillar is a lever.

Target #5:
Go back to the garden and exit at The Pipe again.  Go straight north from where you exited and pass by Yuttos which will be on your left.  Keep going north till it looks like you'll end up in Inferno.  Use the "groove" you can see in the northern white area near Inferno to guide you almost straight into the cave (cave entrance coords are actually 1390 2430) where you'll find the Corpse Sucker blessed by Cama at (1380,2480).

Target #6:
The next one is Wandering Chemist blessed by Cama.  This one should be quite easy to find since he's at the yutto camp.  Note: near to where it says "Yuttos Wastelands" on the map at (1050,1530).

Target #7:
Go back to the garden and exit to Penumbra Fortress.  Head mostly south with a slight west.  North above the "v" in the word "The Ravine" you'll find a whole group of Frosty Rafter Twice Marked at (2200,650).

Target #8:
Go back to garden again and exit at Glacier Hill.  Head south with a slight west slant and go around the cliff or look over the cliff and jump up to see the Or-Made of the furious fists below you at (995,156).

Target #9:  Penumbra Hollows
Go north to the Vanya Statue at The Pipe.  Look down the pipe and enter into the dungeon at the far end.  Just inside you'll find a Hiisi Warrior Blessed by cama.

WARNING! Make sure you have at least five slots in your inventory available before you select the next target, because quest will update and the last item you need for quest will appear in your inventory after selecting Len-We.

Target #10:  South-West redeemed camp
Once you have the Hiisi tagged, head back south to the same village that you tagged the Or-Made of the furious fists at.  Go SE from the Glacier Hill Vanya Statue and you'll see the a zone message "Entering 'Blue Mist'.", start turning south to go around the top of the building you'll see on your right.  Go out to near the end of the protrusion over where the Redeemed mobs are at and and Len-We can be tagged from above by standing and jumping at (1100,332).

As soon as you tag the Len-We you'll get a quest update and a "Source Fragment Scanner - Scan" will appear in your inventory.  Put 7 "Fragements of the Source" into the scanner, then it will turn into a "Source Fragment Scanner - Scan completed" and another scanner will appear in your inventory to fill up with another 7 source frags.  You will have to fill 5 Source Fragment Scanners and will need a total of 35 Fragements of the Source.  Once the last scanner is filled you will receive your "The Key to the Garden of Vanya".  You can delete the completed source fragment scanners now since they will not be needed again.
