Ok so I'm a muppet and a bit of a newb to this PocketBoss lark (Hell I only just managed to sort out implants!)

When people say they spawned this guy 5 times - they found 5 sets of A,B,C,D patterns and made them all, then spawned him ?

How many spirits do you have to kill to get that many patterns ?

I started this last night, killed elevnty billion spirits (ok then about 20) and got only patterns off the 'named' boss spirit - I'm doing something wrong ?
