NOTE : Could you post Profession Novictum ( type ) and Vision ( name ) for your profession here Just so I can keep it all in one place Cheesy.

- Thx, The Ed.

- Me looking gimpy in my new set of Tier 1 armour.

WARNING : The Gylph is unique, if you try and make multiple versions at the same time you will loose them Sad "You already have this unique item". I learn't this at my cost Sad I lost 3 Visions and an Embryo Sad

1. Get Visions of <xxxxxxxx>
Ask your IPS what Visions and what type of Novictum you need and head to a (un)redeemed temple, walk upstairs and choose the spirit room. Walk N and zone in the "mud" there. Farm Vision items from the mobs there. You need 3 visions per armourpiece.

2. Get Embryo's
Inside this dungeon the sidekicks of the bossroom drop Embryo's you need. If you are in a higher lvl Dungeon (Scheol+) normal mobs can drop them too. You need 1 Embryo per armour piece.

3. Get Canisters of Liquid Notum
These drop by the general wildlife of Shadowlands. Can only have one at a time so you will need these as last prolly, make 1 piece and get another etc.

4. Get Canister of your type of Novictum
Your IPS tells you what type your profession needs. You farm these from spirit mobs, but not the ones in the spirit room, go outside for em. You need one per armourpiece.

5. Make your Glyph
Head back to the IPS person and tell him/her you got enough for your glyph and hand over 3 visions and the embryo and you'll get a glyph.

6. Activate/Assemble your glyph
Click your Canister of Liquid Notum on your Glyph to activate it. Tier 1 needs 550 QFT for that. Now click your canister of novictum-type on it to make it the final version. ( Requires 600 Psychology )

7. Make your Tier 1/2/3 armourpiece
Click the result of step 6 on your Jobe armourpiece. Grats

Tier 1 only has: Glove/Sleevex2/Pants/Boots/Body
Tier 2 has: Glove/Sleevex2/Pants/Boots/Body/Padx2/Helmet
Tier 3 has: Glove/Sleevex2/Pants/Boots/Body/Padx2/Helmet/Back
*advs are lucky and get a tier2 back too

To make Tier 2 pads/helmet you can use Jobe one. Same with Tier3 back item.

Have fun making these, it is worthwhile. You can upgrade your armour to a certain degree:

Tier1: from 100 to 160
Tier2: from 160 to 220
Tier3: from 220 to 300

Currently a lvl 200 could eqp a 220 set with some effort. QL160 is about the same as normal QL200 armour give or take a few. QL160 body adds 1000 AC usually.

I wanna make a list of what pieces each profession needs. If you know your profession please:

NOTE : Could you post Profession Novictum ( type ) and Vision ( name ) for your profession here Just so I can keep it all in one place Cheesy.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About Novictum

Novictum Mud
Novictum Sand

Item description is the same on each....

"Many attempts have been made at describing what Novictum really is. Teh Deacon defines it like this: '... and it is therefore not correct to regard Novictum as an energy source in the scientific meaning of the word, but rather as a 'metaphysical source of anti-growth' - an active matter of 'destruction' that balances 'growth' (represented by Notum) - and 'kills' energy. Traditionally death is regarded as passive, it is simply the 'random' absence of life. Life itself equals 'growth' in most beliefs. There is now good reason to start believing in the existence a destructive force that actively works against the force of 'growth' - and that both must be present as a premise of life. When both are absent we end up with death. In all other parts of the universe those two forces are always intermingled, only on Rubi-Ka and in the Shadowlands can you find those two 'building bricks of life' in their pure form.'"

More hints here

Looking at it, I think it definately is a tradeskill process. 1 possibliity is you take your chunks of Disturbed, Provoked, or Cyrstalized Novictum, clean it up and mix it in a jar to get pure Novictum ?

Ideas on this greatly appreciated Cheesy

When making Tier1 armor and you haven`t got the Psycology or the QFT can others make them or do they become NONDROP and you`ll just have to lvl to put ip in them?

Others can make them as they are UNIQUE, but not NODROP. For example in Crat case:

Yellow Glyph of Enel
Yellow Glyph of Enel - Awakened
Glyph of the King
